Mémoire réalisé dans le cadre du Diplôme national des métiers d'arts et du design. Dans celui-ci, je m'intéresse au manga en tant qu'objet de narration visuelle et porte un regard sur différentes singularités qui en font un objet d'intérêt pour le domaine du design graphique.

Thesis completed as part of the Diplôme National des Métiers d’Art et du Design. In this work, I examine manga as an object of visual narration and explore its unique characteristics that make it a subject of interest in the field of graphic design.

Pour la mise en page de ce mémoire, j'ai fait le choix du style suisse et son aspect dépouillé afin de valoriser mes iconographies dans leur aspect purement formelle, j'ai également décidé de les jouer hors champs de la même manière que le fait une grande partie des mangas avec des illustrations qui s'étendent jusqu'aux bords du format.

For the layout of this thesis, I chose the Swiss style and its stripped-down aesthetic to emphasize my iconography in its purely formal aspect. I also decided to use off-frame compositions, in the same way many manga do, with illustrations extending to the edges of the format.
